I got a promotional email for a new India based citizen journalism web site called www.inewss.com. I checked out the site by registering and posting a few articles.
I must say the site looks cool and neat. I liked the simple layout and the ease with which users can post articles. I think this site, www.inewss.com , is just a pointer to the future trend where amateurs and ordinary citizens will report news and new reporting itself will become more democratised.
One thing to watch out will be quality of the news. Those sites that can ensure this veracity of the news items will definitely gain more audience.
www.inewss.com is definitely a site to watch out for in the citizen journalism space , espcially those who are budding journalist and free lance reporters.
